Step back in time on a guided history walk through the heart of El Granada.

Learn about the area’s early beginnings, the exciting arrival of the Ocean Shore Railroad and its ambitious development plans, and how El Granada evolved after the railroad disappeared.

The 1.5 mile walk includes views of the harbor, two former train station sites, remnants of the original curbs, and several early homes.

Meet at the skate ramp parking lot at the corner of Portola and Obispo Road.

This route includes sidewalks and uneven surfaces. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

This event is FREE. Space is limited, registration is recommended to reserve your spot and complete the waiver in advance. Walk-ins will need to sign a waiver on site if space allows.
