The Ritz-Carlton | Taste of Half Moon Bay

 

 

The beloved Taste of Half Moon Bay returns this May, inviting guests to an evening of oceanfront, farm to table indulgence. Set at an elegant king’s table overlooking the coast, the night begins with a sunset performance by the resort’s resident bagpiper and a welcome reception featuring cocktails and tastings from local artisans, including Half Moon Bay Brewing, Jettywave, and Half Moon Bay Distillery.

For this season’s event, the resort’s Executive Chef joins forces with Restauranteur & Owner Betsy del Fierro and Chef Maile del Fierro of Half Moon Bay’s own It’s Italia and Johnny’s on Main Street to create a four course menu that highlights the region’s agricultural heritage. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, incorporating seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby Brisa Ranch in Pescadero, to celebrate the area’s vibrant produce and deep-rooted culinary traditions.

Award winning wine pairings from Beauregard Vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains complement the meal, enhancing every course with flavors that are distinctly Northern California. It’s an immersive experience that brings together the land, the community, and the coastal spirit—where farm meets table at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay.
