Join us as we celebrate the release of Steve Hawk’s debut novel “Nearshore,” published by Viking Books.
Hawk is a longtime local surfer and the former editor of Surfer, Sierra and Stanford Business magazines.
The book is a “surf noir” thriller set here on the Coastside and involving a threat of nuclear terrorism.
In its review, Publishers Weekly wrote: “Engrossing, graceful, and transporting, this is a terrific—if terrifying—tale of near apocalypse.”
