Dr. Cris Azzola, ND, is a licensed naturopathic doctor who blends intuition with evidence-based care to offer medicine that is both practical and deeply thoughtful. Shaped by her Romanian heritage and a family lineage of integrative thinkers, she grew up with a holistic view of health rooted in nature, problem-solving, and wholeness. After moving to the United States, her own struggles with chronic fatigue, allergies, digestive issues, and severe PMS exposed the gaps in fragmented conventional care. Her turning point came at Bastyr University, where she discovered naturopathic medicine and embraced a systems-based approach that connected body, environment, emotions, and personal history—restoring clarity and resilience in her own life.
Over two decades of practice, Dr. Cris has woven together cultural insight, lived experience, and rigorous training to help patients find clarity rather than chase perfection. Her long partnership with Rachel (they/them), whose love of nature and mindful living deeply influenced her personal and professional philosophy, further shaped her compassionate approach and empathy strengthened by Rachel’s unexpected passing. Today, Dr. Cris offers measured, investigative, and grounded care, guiding patients toward resilience and a steadier path forward with the belief that true healing happens when people feel understood and supported.
Dr. Cris Azzola ND practices in Half Moon Bay and San Francisco, California, offering in-person and virtual appointments. Each visit is a partnership—grounded in science, shaped by compassion, and designed to help you thrive in your daily life.
