Hometown Cornershop is a locally owned home and tabletop shop on Main Street in Half Moon Bay, bringing together thoughtfully selected home décor, kitchenwares and entertaining pieces, serveware, glassware, bakeware, and accent furniture.
The collection is built around beautiful, well-made pieces from independent makers and brands with stories. From pieces for the kitchen and table to distinctive accents and furnishings, everything at Hometown Cornershop is hand-selected for quality, craft, and lasting use. Owner Marika Holmgren, a native New Englander, moved to Half Moon Bay nearly 25 years ago and found her new hometown on the Coastside. As the third generation of women in her family to own a small store, she believes a shop should carry some of the same feeling as home: familiar, welcoming, comfortable, and filled with things that have meaning. Hometown Cornershop brings that philosophy to 400 Main Street, with pieces chosen to help customers create their own definition of home
