It Takes a Village
The annual Half Moon Bay Wine & Jazz Festival is an enormous undertaking by a tiny group of people in the HMB Downtown Association. Not only in terms of time but expense. They know not all of us have time to spare, but they sure could use financial support in any way you feel guided to give.
Why is this important? This one-day festival has proven to be one of the busiest shopping days of the year, according to their surveys of downtown businesses. Some say it’s on par with the week before Christmas. By the nature of the wine and jazz combination, and their efforts to curate the best California wineries as well as the best in jazz performing artists (thanks to artistic director Marcus Shelby, who’s been the artistic director of the Healdsburg Jazz Festival for more than a decade), they’re attracting an affluent customer to town with disposable income to spend on Main Street.
They’d like to invite you to participate through sponsorship of the event, all the details are in the linked pdf. Proceeds from this festival help marketing efforts to further assist in bringing folks from over the hill to Main Street. Together, we can drive the marketing engine downtown. Thank you so much for your support.
