Every Wednesday and Thursday morning, Coastside Lutheran Church hosts a Community Breakfast for anyone hungry for food and/or fellowship. We are looking for friendly folks who like to work in the kitchen and mingle with their neighbors. Volunteer tasks include chopping veggies; scrambling eggs; making coffee, pancakes, French toast, and sausage; washing dishes; and cleaning up the fellowship hall. We regularly feed 50-70 people each day. The first shift of volunteers arrives at 6AM, the second shift arrives around 8AM and we are done by 10. Breakfast is served from 7-9 and volunteers are welcome to eat as well! Serving at the Community Breakfast is a great way to help out your Half Moon Bay neighbors and to get to know people.
